Origin
The A78D lot is from a farm called Banka in the Menglian region of Yunnan partially developed by Mr. Hu. He oversaw the operations of the Banka wet mill and worked alongside the villagers in the area to produce specialty coffee on Banka's land. In 2018, Yunnan Coffee Traders took over the management of the Banka wet mill and a portion of the Banka farm, some 100 hectares of land. The A78D represents coffee from 30 hectares of this land located near the village of “AQicDu.”
Roast Profile
Medium Light Roast
Roaster's note: On our Ikawa sample roaster, we roast 50g of green beans for a period of 9 mins at an end temperature of 210°C. The resultant coffee is a medium-light roast that tastes good on the filter and makes a good ristretto shot on the espresso machine too. Looking forward to roasting this on the production roaster.
