About Us
The Beginnings
Started in 2017, Foreword Coffee Roasters is a social enterprise cafe that embraces inclusivity. By using coffee as a vehicle for change, Foreword empowers persons with disabilities, special needs and mental health conditions through employment opportunities.
Today, Foreword can be found in 7 locations, and provide services from coffee carts to wedding favours.
Foreword is also proud to be a recipient of the Enabling Mark (Platinum) Award in 2021, the highest accolade given to organisations for best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment.

Enabling Mark Platinum
Foreword is proud to be one of six recipients of the inaugural Enabling Mark (Platinum) Award organised by SG Enable in August 2021. The Enabling Mark is a national-level accreditation framework by SG Enable that benchmarks and recognises organisations for their best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment.
B Corp Certified
As of 2022, Foreword joined 4,500 businesses worldwide as a certified B-Corporation. Together, the community strives towards an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. As the 17th B-corp certified business in Singapore, the environmental and social impact of Foreword spans across five segments - governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
DBS Foundation SEGrant Programme Awardee

Steward Leadership 25
Steward Leadership 25 (SL25) is an annual listing of initiatives from 25 for-profit organisations that have shown Steward Leadership excellence within the Asia-Pacific region. Foreword's initiative on a work-integration model for social inclusion was selected in the inaugural list of 25 initiatives in 2022.
